The television special Cirque du Soleil presents Alegria was filmed in July 2001, in Sydney, Australia. The filming, specially designed for DVD, lets the watcher see one of Cirque du Soleils most popular productions from a brand-new perspective. More than 14 cameras and state-of-the-art filming techniques we used to create a unique television experience that brings the spectator into the very heart of the performance. In addition to the main program, the DVD includes a 50-minute documentary produced by an Australian television network, which presents images from backstage and interviews with the artists and production team. This television special is an excellent way for you to experience and discover the exhilarating moments of the show!
